10 Ways to Stay (somewhat) Busy During Quarantine

As you can tell by the title, I will share my on the bright side tips for being quarantined during COVID-19. Unfortunately, I work for an essential business and don't get to do much stay at home or quarantine activities that I see everyone doing online. But don't get me wrong, I am very thankful to still have a job where I still get to learn my new role in the company and still have a source of income. My heart goes out to everyone whose futures are uncertain. However, it is highly important (and recommended) that you stay home and/or practice social distancing whenever you can. I know we all can get bored and down during these unsure times, but it is important we try to stay positive and encourage others to do their part. My PWI Experience (Q+A Edition)

What did you think when asked to speak about your experience? I just don't think I often paid attention to attending a PWI, but I know it was inevitable. I always attended predominately white schools up until high school, which was more minority-based. At LIU, it was obvious if you were the black student in the class because naturally, we all sat together or there weren't too many in the class. But I also got my fair share of the "wow you sound so white," or "didn't expect you to sound like that," and that jazz. I also felt there were often complaining everywhere about something on that campus. Why did you attend LIU? LIU was one of the universities, I always wanted to attend. They had many different majors to choose from. I wanted a school that had all the majors I was considering at the time and a college that offered smaller class sizes.
